Drain Cartridge Repair Kit for Erie 541 and 542. If flow to drain will not stop, it is most likely this assembly that needs to be replaced.
Old part number 529-294 and new part number 71902
Drain Plunger Replacement:
1 ) Turn water off ( or By Pass Valve )
2 ) Press down on drain plunger with screw driver to open and allow any pressure on tank to flow out the drain line
3 ) REMOVE the retainer SCREW located below the "Time of Day" gear.
4 ) Lift the retainer down and away from the timer assembly.
5 ) Press down on the drain plunger to remove it from the valve body.
6 ) Install new parts in reverse.
